ohh i like his sugar coating! lol, a bit crunchy for my taste though :-). hes pretty! we dont have things like that here as far as i know, and if we did i would probably freak! lovely close up of him .

Nice closeup. This guy looks like he's related to the leatherwing beetle, which are a gift to the gardener because they eat aphids.

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.

Glorious colours there, EJ. Are those his borers in front? The blue, black and yellow of the beetle shows off well against the bright green of the leaves.
