I could be sitting in the wildlife refuge for days and not get a shot like this. Just geese. Fantastic shot. I can't wait to see your picture of the Pterodactyl. He he.
This is so lovely that I must make a comment to make it more beautiful. If the sky was more definite blue, the effect would be stunning - like MGM and Technicolor etc LOL
Seriously - great image !
*retreats still thinking about the colour of the sky*
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
You have Pterodactyls in your area? lol. EJ, it looks to me that you are about to start a series we all will be looking forward to each day. I know I will be. What fantastic detail you were able to get in the egret. I do not know what I envy the most, your talent or the beauty of the egret. Both are terrific.
Wow, EJ. I've been following egrets most of my photographic career, and I've never been able to get this close. Great clarity, and great isolation of the subject. I agree with Marzena, though. If you could use Photoshop to saturate the sky behind the bird it would make the subject stand out better.
Wow was my instant reaction upon opening this photo, and what an image you have caught here! Stunning and instantly into my fav's. Well done and I too can't wait to see what else you have in store for our eyes!!!

I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
