I saw your earlier post but briefly but am prepared to give my opinion that I do prefer this one - this is more definite in its emptiness and barenness and at the same time gives some hope by the its colours. HOWGH as my friend Vinnetou used to say.

A good shot of the burnoff E.J. Smokie and colourful. Whenever they try a burnoff down here the wind picks up and we end up with a forest fire out of control.

Looks great EJ. I like the way the trees gradually fade but still show a good DOF.

I don't recognize this place at all. What planet is it on. Oh yeah....didn't Yoda live there? LOL. Very nice, EJ.

Amazing image EJ. I love the other one as well. Great color and contrast. Looks almost cheerful as the other is a more spooky feel to it.

Well, if I may be honest in my opinion, I don't care for the color in this version. To me, the color is unrealistic. The color in Burn Off III is the way this one should be.

I have to agree with Pat regarding the colour. While I like the composition with this I do prefer Burn off lll, as it I feel it has more depth. As well I like the more graphical look (also the Egret):) Either way both are good captures of an interesting and magical part of our world. Thanks for the share EJ.
