Don't tell anyone, but I am actually a leftover from the Jurassic period. I remember being in that exact spot back in those days. I bet you can still see my initials that I carved on one of those trees. CMD. Cave Man Dummy. I don't know why everyone called me that. LOL. Excellent picture, EJ. I love that sky and the reflections.
I love the textures that are in these photos. I think they always have a spooky feel in B/W and think this one would be the same in B/W as well. Nonetheless it it is a great shot and you did a great job with it.
I had this in the VB this morning, and I knew it had to be yours! Nobody does these types better than EJ!...hehe...Gorgeous shot and just stunning!

The scene does have a Jurassic feel to it ... I'm almost expecting a dino to appear any moment. Wonderful colors & textures ... I'm surely enjoying the glassy reflections. Fantastic post EJ & thanks for sharing.
I feel right at home myself....! Even that sky!I don't see a snowy one, but I do see a YC Night Heron and a Green one, almost sure. I love the composition, contrasts and textures.
Beautiful beautiful... Pterodactyls will be circling in the sky soon and ancient alligators will be swimming lazily toward the baby velocirapters (sp?) coming down to the water to drink... and I think I hear the croak of mutant frogs... ;-))
