Well if you were wondering if I were still alive or not the answer is Barely! I'm still working in North Louisiana and nothing to shoot up there but pine trees. Although I was lucky enough to return home this week via the Natchez Mississippi route. I was able to dust off the old Nikon and capture this 3 image hdr right before the rains hit as you can see by the darkening skies. It's the riverfront in Natchez,Mississippi. Across the muddy Mississippi River is the small towns of Vidalia and Ferriday Louisiana. Vidalia is famous for it's Onions and Ferriday is famous for it's recording stars Jerry Lee Lewis and Mickey Gilley. At the foot of the hill in Natchez is the Riverboat Casino Isle of Capri. A tug pushes a loaded barge up river. From time to time I try to view the uploads from my Friends list, but do not have the time to vote or comment. My apologies for not being able to participate more at this time. Hope everyone is well. Have A Great Day! E J

I took a southerly drive along the Mississippi a few days ago ... made it as far as Northern Iowa to a riverboat just like the one in this scene. Nicely captured EJ ... glad to hear all is well with you.

Wonderful picturesque view of the riverfront. I do enjoy your perspective. Feels like being there looking down the road. I bet the egret rookeries are wondering where you are! I hope you can get back there soon. Thank you for sharing the journey.

Last time I was there they were loading bails of cotton onto Steamships..kidding! before my time but I did take the The 444-mile Natchez Trace Parkway from the start to the end in TN.. Very scenic view of this old southern Mississippi town. I don't need a daily up date to make sure you are still alive but do enjoy hearing from you now and again when you have a free moment my friend!

Hey E.J. I know exactly how you feel, I (thankfully) have been working so much lately that I just do not have the time for my passion and when you do get a chance to look you want to answer each one but get that feeling of being overwhelmed! But we all understand and you will get to slow down eventually!! Meanwhile we will take the occasional post from you as they are always a treat!! Keep smiling!! :) Steve
