I know how much SAM loves Gators. Shot this one from quite a ways off with a Full 300mm and still had to heavily crop just to get a decent tooth to show up. Hope You like it SAM. BTW: They Love Dogs...Just Kidding of course. Have A Great Day! E J

E. J., 'Say Cheese' wouldn't have been helpful, as they don't know where 'cheese' stands for, so you must have tell them that this capture was meant for SAM, because they are smiling, and that's pretty rare for gators, lol!

Oh, yes - you have been thinking I was not coming to give them beasts a big kick !!!! I would just anything to protect my baby ! :)
In the first place I would keep Boris at a safest distance away from those beasts licking their chops at the mere thought of well groomed and well fed and generally substantial dog of 100 pounds in weight...
I feel rather torn in my thoughts - biased as I am about those gators and sharks. These two critters have kept me away from any natural water reservoirs for over 35 years now ... Only swimming is in a swimming pool, Boris can have his dip in a small lake where I watch him all the time and no gators or crocs have appeared so far...
Saving this just in case I see one - to facilitate identification = defence! :)

Dear Customer Service: First of all, you should know I am typing this with my middle finger...
They are beauties to behold...from a safe distance...I hear they can move really fast. Heavily crop seems the best advise for any sensible photographer. Though you cropped the image is very sharp anyway. Very nice one E.J.. Marzena is wise to stay a healthy distance from these guys.
