Last summer I went hiking down some trails by the Charles River and found a field full of milkweed. I got a good number of pictures from that weekend, but I had lost the memory stick. I was very happy to have finally found it and to see all the pictures I had forgotten about. I took this with my D80, 105mm VR at f/11 with a 1/250 sec exp. I hope you like this because spring is hopefully right around the corner.

Chris, this is a very nice shot.

Great colour, great clarity (well done on the technical considerations, DOF et al) and a good composition.

Have a thought, or two ... for you:

A read about your camera's in-camera settings.

Not that it is particularly appropriate where your image here is concerned ... simply put, might be worth some experimentation.

Really like how the two caterpillars are positioned within frame. And additionally, aside from ascending/descending ... the lighted versus the shadowed.

A fine shot. Nice to see you posting again, and but of course ... thank you for sharing this one with us. :o)
