My stepfather was cleaning out the Birdhouse that these Wren's abandoned last year. We do not know what spooked them off, but they sadly left these behind. The nest is very fragile but is still somewhat sturdy so I can carefully maneuver this outside again. Any critics and suggestions are welcome so I can try to get a better photo next time I set up the nest outside. Thanks for viewing

Aww, a beautiful capture of such precious and fragile eggs. Too bad they were left behind, but this is a great shot!

It's a fine shot of the nest. Is it possible to keep them warm until they hatch? I wonder how big the eggs are. A great nature shot.

I'm sorry to say that these eggs were in the birdhouse since last summer. They didn't make it through the cold winter. The eggs are about half the size of an average Concord Grape.

Poor babies! Are you going to hatch them and take care of them? I love this photo! Very good clarity and detail, again! Thank you Chris! Allen

That's very sad, that they weren't even able to grow and survive. Something sure must have scared mama bird away. I love the photo even tho the situation was so sad. Half the size of a Concord grape? Oh my!! But you know what, why don't you keep the whole nest and get a plexi display made for it? And preserve the whole thing that way. (Note my PM to you.)Verena
