The "Rose Castle",which is what Rosenborg means in Danish, was built the early-17th century by Christian IV to serve as a recreational palace and takes its inspiration, like most of this king's works, from the Dutch Renissance style...The palace was converted into museum in 1833....I took the shot in a gloomy February day..I hope, nevertheless, you'll enjoy..

It looks beautiful Dr. Quinn. The gray sky makes it stand out that much more. We don't alway have the opportunity to choose when we take photo. I love the tree as part of the framing. I feel like I could lean against it and look at castle for a long time. Great coloring and presentation. I love it.

Adriana, the contrast is striking and the composition (as always!) is superlative!

That's not your typical castle architecture, at least to me. I think it looks like a cathedral or something. That big tree, and the cloudy day makes it looks a little spooky. Very nice picture, Adriana.

Can see by the dramatic sky it was a gloomy day Adriana. As one can't cange these conditions think you achieved the best possible result. Good and interesting image!
