I thought this drive might make an interresting photograph as it reminded me of the poem by Robert Frost titled "The Road Less Traveled".

Neat image David. I like all the hues of green and blue that you captured. The road is quite distinct in this (is it really less traveled:) .....I am not sure about the rocks in the foreground. They do add dimension to the image, yet I was thinking about the rule of thirds. I think personally, I like the way you shot it, ones eyes are able to see the great depth that is here. Welld one. Thank you :~)

Nice shot! Nice scenery for the desktop and yes, must be fun to just drive on, doesn't look like many use that road anyway :)

The interest is in your vantage point. Since you have captured this in the mid day the far away mountains looks bit blue and you can adjust it later on. The clouds and the cloud shadows add beauty to the image. Even the road is a very artistic rubber band :)

Ok, you go about, hmm, I'd say about a few kilometres and then ... take your first left.

There, a driver's worst nightmare and a great photo in one.

Great concept and a very appropriate intrepretation of those famous words. Yes, very interesting and I think a superb composition.

For some reason, when I went to view it, those rocks were cropped out of my screen. Having read the above comment, I would have to agree, that they are a bit ... a bit of a visual distraction.

Man, you are going to be monster when you have mastered your camera. And from what I can tell, you are very close. Look forward to it.

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes. - Marcel Proust
