Beautiful colours in that sky. Not sure if the horizon line is supposed to be at a slant like that or not, if not, then maybe just editing it and making it straighter. But I know some shorelines are like this, since there is a silhouette of land.
I do like the drama of this photo. Verena

Life is like a grindstone.Whether it grinds us down or polishes us up depends on us.

Hi Alex,

I like the tones and color contrasts within a narrow range that you have here, you've done well to capture and distinguish them. I agree with Verena that the horizon appears to be tilted - even if it's a natural phenomena, the illusion of the whole image is that it's slipping off the side (apparently the earth is flat! 8•P). Rotating it about 5-6 degrees counterclockwise would correct that impression and allow the focus to be on your other details. Welcome to Caedes, looking forward to seeing more of your work. 8•)

P.S. I used to try a bunch of purposely tilted shots… and my photo teacher continually rolled his eyes @ me and called it "the Batman angle"… works rarely, but when you get it right, it's beautiful. Nature shots seem to pretty much never work out for it. 8•)

One man sees things and says "why?" - but I dream things that never were and I say "why not?"
