The sky on this photo is just wonderful. And the contrasts are also. A very soft photo, I assume thats a haze all around the rocks. The scene is great. Only one thing I would suggest and that would be to get rid of the dark shadow at the bottom right. It is real distracting to the rest of the picture. You could crop it out, make the picture a bit more narrow and add a nice simple line of framing. But I am a lover of clouds and so this sky is just fantastic and makes the whole photo just come alive. Nice work!! Verena
The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the same people.

It appears the clouds are swooping down to pick something up- wonderful composition, Jason and the foreground is a good lead in to the subject. - Patty
Gorgeous expanse and composition Jason. Love the sky with the puffs of white and the shadow in the lower right sure gives it a lot of depth. Very well done friend. Anita
I've been gone a long time and so happy to be back. Forgive me if I miss one or two and my sincere thanks to Anne for her warm dedication. I'm so appreciative.

I have never seen the Grand Canyon for real, just photographs. ...and this looks like a photograph to me Jason. You should get a job in Computer Graphics - you probably already do that! lol! :) Patti

Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust."
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day;
6 nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.....
This is I think, your finest Image to date Jason.
Everything is really perfect. Magnificant surfacing and color changes. Great Pov and the Sky fits this image perfectly!
Nicely done Jason. Great texture and colors. 2 questions..Do you work from a Topo. map to get the location? and Does it take longer to render being this vast an area? Well done with this..Bill
I mistook this for a real landscape, it is just that good. Wonderful job you are doing and you seem to have a good knowledge of topography to be making such great art with that program.
WOW.. that looks like the ranges here.. great work Jason.. Perfect work, if I didnt know it was a render i would have thought you were flying over it... excellent work
