Picture Purrrfect .
A purrrfect world is what we all want, but, seems too unobtainable. If I've viewed and commented on your post, and you liked my remarks then NO THANKS is needed...just getting to see your wonderful work is thanks enough for me!!
Also BIG thanks to all who check out my work!! I appreciate any and all comments & feedback!!
Great job Jason, nice effect on the water job my friend. Looks kinda prehistoric to me. Throw a water dino in there and ...............Hmmmmmmmmmmmm LOL
There is a magical and ancient atmosphere about this landscape. There are a few things that are worrying about it though: the horizon line is not straight, there is a straight panel of another shade in the lower part of the sky, and there are fuzzy parts. Sorry about this mate. The elements for greatness are there, however. :)
Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second. Give your dreams all you've got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

I definetely agree this has the making of a great work. all the suggestions above should be experimented with i suggest. I really like the colour of the water, and the dramatic rocks but a few things seem to stop this from being awesome.

You remember the great fire from 1979 that supposedly started in your garage where that chipmunk ingested some fertilizer and fell into a can of kerosene, instantly turning into a flying little fluffy little molotov cocktail that set a blaze leveling the whole neighborhood west of Newton's Hardware Store?
Don't worry Jason, I'm waaaay behind in everything too...as for this, I love the colors and dark mystical feel...I tend to agree somewhat with Randy in that perhaps there is abit too much here and you might have a stronger effect with just a bit less in the composition but otherwise a great job.:Pat.
Jason, there is very little contrast between the sky and the water. I have to agree with the others' comments. Yes, I read them first to see if anyone else was having trouble with this image. Just not you best work, my friend.
I really like the different depths to the underwater rocks Jason and it looks great to me but since I don't create any of these personally I hate to criticize it. I really like this though- beautiful colors and range in this.
This is incredible. It would make a great cover for a Sci-Fi book. Terrific. It looks so real. I can almost hear the frogs croaking and the crickets. :) Sarah
Don't feel bad, I have over 100 pieces to view and comment on.

I actually didn't notice the horizon level til I read through some of the above comments. I love the feel of this and the range of colors which make it not-quite-monotone. I think maybe the sticky uppy rock on the bottom left doesn't need to be there, it seems to be almost an afterthought, and the shadowing on it is so dark that it really draws your eye to try and figure out what it is rather than adding to the image. That being said, I love water and underwater images, and this is a great one in concept, and almost all of the execution 8•)
