I really like watching you explore different "mediums" as it were, and seeing you stretch. I agree this is not quiiiiiiiite there, but it's alot closer than I've seen in other places, and I'm a fan of that color palette you have going on there. 8•)
edit: relook on the way out strikes me… it seems to be offcenter in a way that seems accidental rather than planned. Maybe either center more, or shove further off-center?

Er... this is _before_ you're good at it? OK, I'm not saying this is everything you wanted or that it is a great image, but it is certainly good. For a first, it _is_ great. I especially like these colours and the soft, light feel this has.
You have an amazing gallery of fractals. Almost all are simply delightful, the few that are not are very pretty. I would like to comment on all of them and apologise for not being having limitations such as... the number of hours in the day...
