Magical and proud this tree was chosen to stand alone..... I was climbing a small hill to get a picture of the sunset, but instead i found this magnificent tree standing right behind it, it seemed like the most peaceful place on earth, until the clouds set in and i realized that it was very likely to get struck by lightning...

Hopefully the lightning didn't strike this tree. This is one well "chosen" tree for its beauty.

I would choose this tree for its lovely full shape and curve of the trunk. The changing colors of the sky add more beauty to the tree - I especially like the tint of the lower sky. A fine scenic view, and thanks Angelika :^)

Beautiful tree, a stand out. It looks so really fine against the gray sky and yonder hills. Really nice post.
