In the Petrified Forest of Arizona this expanse was so beautiful. I'm going to run and play (with my camera) until Monday so I wish you all a very good weekend.

Oh, this is soooo nice Anita! It looks like a herd of dinosaurs gradually becoming unburied as the wind blows the sands away. What a range of colours and compositions. Fantastic.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
Very effective shot of line and color. The humpy landscape plays right into the lumpy clouds in the sky. Nice contrast between the rocks and sky. anne :-)

I have had nothing much for a long time, and I still have some of it left.
This is very beautiful. I love the colors and contrasts. I've seen the Petrified Forest but it's been a good 20 years. I would love to go back someday. Thanks for sharing!
