I recently went to the Cockrell Butterfly Center here at Hermann Park and they were feeding so I was able to catch this one by accident ;) Have a great day and thanks as always for your comments. Anita
Anita your clarity on this capture is excellent and the colors so rich...even the shadow of the cute lil butterfly is awesome in itself to behold. Thanks for sharing this one
How simply elegant this is! It's perfectly composed, has wonderful lighting, rich color and great clarity. This one just seems to make a statement! Beautiful accident Anita!
Lovely butterfly, Anita. I like the totally green background and the leaf he is on looks like a cup. Great accident. Did you catch anymore butterflies? ;0)
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.
-Josemaria Escriva
Beautiful shot! Though the butterfly isn't real flashy in color, the lighting and movement in the greens behind it make for a really pleasing shot, and the frame does a good job of pulling all the colors together. Way to go, girl!
Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.
Nicely done, Anita! Lovely contrast and perfectly sharp, great color saturation and composition of the subject. First rate work lady, keep it up! anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
and simply beautiful too Anita! I love the way he is sitting on that leave - it makes a wonderful photograph - very good clarity - no accident about it, you did a great job! Patti

I saw a needle that winked its eye.
But I think I will have seen everything
When I see an elephant fly.
