While on my morning walk the other day I came across this small building and bench (complete with water fountain) near downtown Houston and thought it looked inviting. As always, thanks for stopping by. Anita
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away. Henry D. Thoreau
Isn't that a public restroom? If it is, Houston has the most relaxing, peaceful poopers I have ever perchance had the pleasaure of previewing! ( I have lost it...)

This is a really lovely composition. A bit of haze but not enough to spoil anything. The only thing I find distracting is the drinking fountain in the foreground. I think I might have cloned it out since there's no way to shoot around it and maintain the integrity of the rest of the image. Nice one Anita. anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
A peaceful setting Anita & you captured it so well. Wonderful lighting & colors for early morning. Looks like a great place to sit a spell. A great shot.
Very nice image here Anita! I didn't realize Houston has so much greenery. I think of tumbleweeds and dry flat plains when someone mentions Texas. Brava!
What a serene little corner, and that tree is well looked after, as the rest of the grounds I can see in your photo! Wouldn't mind an odd hour there! Thank you for sharing, Anita

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

No doubt this posting was popular. Lord, took me 5 minutes to get to the bottom of this page just to make a comment. All that trouble just to tell you what a wonderful image this is. Love how you composed this. The shade, shadows and sunlight are a perfect blend in this ideal setting. Beautiful ... simply beautiful. Now I'm gonna sit down on that bench ... I'm pooped.
I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band,
I saw a needle that winked its eye.
But I think I will have seen everything
When I see an elephant fly.
