I had to go back for a "Sedona fix". Even with rain in the distance, the red rocks somehow soothe the soul. Thanks for taking a peek today and I appreciate you all. Anita
Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.
I really like how the light is hitting the rocks yet all around is rainy and subdued - wonderfully composed and a great feeling coming from a magical place!
Yes, the lighting in here is fantastic which is typical of AZ. It can be raining cats and dogs and yet sunshine peeking out somewhere. Beautiful capture.

Hi Anita, this is a very outstanding landscape, with good quality of colours. You've captured the oncoming rainclouds so well...thanks for sharing...Tony.
A magnificent capture Anita. The overcast rainy skies & the hint of sunlight hitting the red rocks make this a very dramatic scene. Perfect composition & thank you for sharing this one.
What great DOF you have here.. one can almost see for ever! Lovely composition Anita. i can almost smell the rain... oh on second thoughts.. it's raining here right now.... :)))

Wonderful Anita, I love the way you captured the sunlight on the rocks. A good contrast to the rain in the distance. A very peacefull, soothing shot my dear friend.
Stan.
This is such a wonderfully dramatic scene Anita. I like the contrast of the lightness in the foreground and the stormy sky, the coolness of the shadows and the warm colors of the rocks. It's a perfect composition to show off that dynamic sky. It's one of those "I wish I was there" shots!
