Another sculpture found on the streets in Sedona. I love the facial expression on this one and hope you do as well. Thanks for coming by and taking a peek today. Anita

A lovely sculpture Anita ... I do love her facial expression. Wonderful clarity & the colors are beautiful. I love how the framing compliments the sculpture. Beautifully done & thank you for sharing.
Thats one of the things I really enjoyed about Sedona when I visited ,besides it's beauty, are the great sculptures they had there! I must have missed this one however. Love it! Great shot of it Anita, & excellent framing!

I love the warm colors in this and the perfect framing. What a unique statue! Her facial expression really brings her to life. An excellent choice of subject.
Everyone has spoken of the uniqueness of this lovely sculpture, and it's not lost on me either, and I'm glad you saw it and captured it the way you did with us looking up at a slight angle..(either that or this is very tall :)..but in any case it gives me the sense of waiting for her to speak of something she's seen or experienced. That helps to convey to the exquisite clarity here. Another element that bolsters my opinion in this area is the definition of the folds in her shawl and the patterns in the lace, as she coyly wraps it around her traditional satin-like skirt. The shirt which also picks up that oh-so-realistic view of her clothing is tailored so that one can get the feeling of the velvet of which it is undoubtedly made. I can't walk away without commenting on the way the jewelry is captured from the bright turquoise earrings to the detailed squash blossom necklace, to the rich design of her silver belt..and I can't miss that lovely simple bracelet and the soft folds of her boots. Thanks for sharing this..in my faves :)PJ
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
Gorgeous Anita. Nice clear shot. She appears to be soaking up some of nature's energy and looks to be pleased about it. Would be even cooler if you could remove that window from behind her. All in all a terrific capture!
