This is very lovely. I use to go to the Houston area several times a year when I lived in Austin for 14 years before moving to Dallas for 6 years and now I am in Oklahoma City. I do miss Texas and some of the beauty you find on the coastal cities. Thanks for the nice remberence.
Next time you're passing that tree Anita, please blow a kiss from me - I love it, in all it's mossy splendor, against that calm blue sky! Lovely photo, thank you for sharing!

the moss on this tree is gorgeous. it reminds me of the old romance novels which always took place in the south. in those all the trees had moss. good capture.
It's a good thing you didn't hear it on Holloween! Maybe you should have and added black and orange lights...Whatever - it's a very good shot Anita, thanks for sharing it.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

What did it scream after you did take its picture, thank you? lol Is the moss/tree a symbiotic relationship? The tree suffers no ill from the moss does it? A very huge and graceful tree.
