The density of the woods and the beauty of the different shades of moss were such a sight. So Verena, while we didn't get to coast, and while it rained most every day, the woods were truly a magnificent sight. You have a lot of beauty in Oregon and I'm glad I got to see a bit of it. Oh and it's for Jerry too...no, moss doesn't :) Thanks everyone for coming by and I appreciate the time you take to view my posts. Anita

Absolutely wonderful textures and colours. I love the slightly spooky feel this has. You have captured it perfectly!

Darn it, Anita, I thought I saw some fairies in there, but it turns out they're only some pretty colored leaves. This would be a fairy paradise. Lovely place to hide away and contemplate. Nicely seen and nicely taken.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Oooooh. Snow, cradled in mossy boughs, with a spark of autumn leaf color here and there...absolutely gorgeous. I see nothing sinister here at all.

Isn't that amazing??!!! But I'm glad you didn't get "swallowed up" in all that mossy stuff. IT can grow on you in seconds it seems....hehe One thing about your photos, I can almost breathe in the lovely woodsy scents! I know how fresh the air is there and just how much people who have never been here, have missed. I'm so happy you got to go out and see some of the greenery.....well, sorta....I know you saw a lot of sadness from the fallen trees of the big windstorm....how about showing us some of those? Please? I love this...to see someones elses views of our lovely state..thank you so very much. These are lovely shots my friend!! More please?? Verena
