And just down from the waterfall the river kept rising more. The hiking was amazing going through the green velvet and seeing the rushing water. Oregon is a beautiful State no doubt. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend. Anita

A great capture. I can almost sense the urgency of the water as it rushes by. Oregon is not only beautiful, it is very rugged too. These scenes are just wonderful.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

You have this perfectly centered, It makes me look into the river to the top of the page, then come back down to enjoy the flowing of the water. Great scenery and color.

Frankly I'm surprised that you could find a place to hike with all that lush greenery going on...did you have to pack a machete? lol...another lovely post.

You have captured the full force of the flowing water and with the clear foreground here it is a beautiful scene. Well done, Anita.

Beautiful grey tones in this photo my friend! I can just imagine how gorgeous the forest scents were, and the sounds of the river...Mmmmmmhhhh, I'm ready to take a trip into the mountains soon too, but I think I am heading towards the Ocean this coming Sunday. When you visit again, I will give you the grand tour of the Coast...ready??!! V

Saw this in the VB, Anita, very nice! Your composition is very interesting the way your eye is drawn back upstream and and real-time capture of the flow is excellent!
