We just got some of these creatures at the Houston Zoo. Their horns are amazing and so different from our Texas Longhorns. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by. Anita

No wonder they have such huge necks. They need them to hold up such huge horns, which from your shot look very heavy. They have nicely colored hair and I like the way you captured him on the move.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

It seems as if, if this is a full grown animal, that the head and body are too small to be able to carry the weight of the horns. It looks like an adult, but I wouldn't know, of course...he's well taken care of !!!

Wow Anita!! and I thought the Longhorns had HUGE horns...but this is amazing!!! I'm so glad you took this pic....gosh I miss the Texas Cattle a lot!! Actually I miss Texas too, especially the hospitality of the people there! I like the colours on the tips of those horns too. I wonder if this guy ever gets headaches!! Can you please find out the name of these cattle for me? I'd love to know. I'm so glad to see a very different sorta picture, thanx so much my friend!! V

Those are the kind of horns that would have been great for my previous hobby of 'stick making'......Wow, I could make a terrific hand-piece from one of those!...Thanks for this my dear!
