There you go again! Showing me something I never knew about! I must be very sheltered. LOL I didn't know they could bend their legs like this. That is so amazing! I love the color of the feathers. Such a splendid creature! Thank you, Anita. I find this shot awesome and inspiring.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I must admit I don't spend a lot of time around flamingos. In fact, it's been about never..well, maybe once. At any rate, I'm with Cindy. I didn't realize they could bend their "knees" like that, or perhaps this is just an abberation and he's double jointed?
It looks uncomfortable :)
A most nusial shot and it is nice to see this bird in a pose other han its usual elegant stance. The colour is just beautiful and I thank you for this fine shot.

I've never seen a 'flamingo' at all!....never mind one in this position!......Either not very well, or fast asleep eh!...whatever...great shot with plenty of detail in there!
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

In the first moment I thought, this guy has very short legs. Smile. I have never seen this before. Do you think, this is relaxing? Great and funny shot.
This guy is very ill. Sadly when they do that iot meens they are lacking in something. It looks like a weekness in the joints. The capture is lovely though and on the whole I love Flamingos.
