Simple, but I liked it... it's a rose from Kew Gardens. When we went it was late in the season and most of the roses had dropped all their petals, but these few were hanging on.

Well, you acutally captured two of the beauties in this pic. I like the bud on the left too..and they're both so clear. When I first saw this I was going to recommend that you take out the half dead rose on the right and the one lying on the ground and blur out the background, but the more I looked at it and thought about it, I realized that the two flowers that have gone by are making a statement in this photo, as are the petals that have fallen on the ground. So I wouldn't change a thing, because if you did, it wouldn't have the same impact :)PJ

hey i like the picture, however "a rose is just a rose by any other name" so well its just a rose, its nothing special. I do not mean to offend its just my opinion. It is well taken and a nice picture but maybe too simple. I am not saying its a bad picture at all its a good picture.

A very nice clean capture of some healthy last roses. (Mine are actually a little spotty for a shot like this). I think some cropping would give it a little more impact but still a very nice shot.

These are great looking roses. I love the clarity of the photograph as the amount of detail that tere is to see. I love the roses against green of the background. Great work
