Winter's Reflection

Well, we took a walk yesterday around a lake in the mountains. The water was so calm and still...made for a wonderful reflection. Even thought the temp was warm, looking at the picture I saw that the image was still one of winter. I think it will make a lovely shot in the spring and summer and I plan to go back.

Just great Dorothy! Super nice! Beautiful reflections! They ought to have a law against above ground power lines in such scenic places, but they are easy to overlook in all the beauty here! I like!! Nicley done Dot!! ~Dan

Dot...Woo! Only my friends call me Dot!! Ha, you're allowed. ))Grin((
I hate those power lines too!! This area is almost historic....This park, in the early 1900's was a popular amusement area. A few rides, lake attractions, Old dance pavilion. The house in the picture is actually the caretaker's house. And old city resevoir is right next to it. Filled in now, but the treatment blocks are still there with steps to nowhere. I love, love , love the history of this city. Love looking through History books. Check out:http://www.berkshistory.org/ Sorry, I still don't know how to add links.

I didn't notice the power lines the first time I saw it, but that could easily be taken care of in PhotoShop. Very peaceful, although it's the calm before the riot of spring :)

Eh, wouldn't happen. Unfortunately that area is long forgotten. Just the lake, some picnic tables, BBQ pitts, and the dance pavilion is still there...but now used for pic family picnics. I have a picture of that one too. I love anything nostalgic and or vintage.

This looks like a splendid place to walk around. The lake is so clear and the tree reflections are wonderous. Is this a vacation spot or close to where you live? Lucky you! Look forward to all your work...
