This little pond is filled from a mountain stream and then feeds down into a mountian lake. This was maybe a 1/4 of a mile up around some brush and hidden from the main lake. I thought it was pretty.

Not much water in that mountain stream anymore, so this little and the pond and the lake are very still. Makes for good refelctions, but I wouldn't swim in it.

Nice wall....{ red brick?} Unusual....{ to border a lake}? Very nice...
Why no swim? Too cold? Pretty photo!

I love the reflections & lighting you captured here. I have never seen a brick wall bordering a pond ... almost like a reservoir. This looks so inviting to me ... I wouldn't hesitate to jump right in. A fantastic shot Dot ... very well done.

I think this is more of a reservoir than a pond, per say. The lake doesn't have a wall. Because of the lack of water actually running through this reservoir..the lake and it are stagnant. That's why I wouldn't swim in it. But I wasn't there to swim...I was there to take pictures. Like I said...makes for good reflections. ;)
