This castle called "Biebricher Schloss" is located right beneath the river Rhine at the City of Wiesbaden. Built in the 18th century it was originally meant as a kind of summer residence for the prince of Nassau. In the following decades it has been extended to a baroque palace with a large park area and orangerie. Today the Biebricher Schloss is owned by the federal state of Hessen and used as a location for cultural events. You can even get married inside this wonderful building. For those of you who dream of a romantic wedding at the Rhine... that's the place to go.

Due to my very detailed image description I have to post this here.... I want to say "Thank you" to my friend BRIX, who helped me with removing some disturbing red / white tape which was spanned in front of the building.

Very nicely composed, sharp picture, good colors. The tree is beautiful and makes the picture more interesting.

This is what I was waiting for. Finally it arrived! Great photo Bernie, you know that. Funny, it is only now that I realised that the tree, with its picturesque branches is overwhelming the castle. In fact it seems to be the subject of your image, lol. Thank you for your extensive intro... Unfortunately I have already got married a couple of years ago, shouldn't have been in such a hurry ;)
