I really like this picture. I know the subject isn't to be in the center of the photo, but I like it there in this photo. I love how the green and yellow shadows form a misty oval frame around the swan. that is a swan isn't it?

Hope you enjoyed your short 'break'....This is a good shot of the swan , it is either looking at it's reflection....or something to eat!....the colours are very soothing to the eye!......Bob

Lovely shot, Bernd...it does seem as if he's posing for you...interesting pool of water around his feet and those golden trees in the back reflecting in the water are beautiful...the scene has a very peaceful feeling, unlike our very noisy Canada geese, lol...very nicely done.:Pat.

The new year is full of time. As the seconds tick away, will you be tossing time out the window, or will you make every minute count?

Me, being a complete bird-loving nerd.... give this is definitely a 10/10!!!!!!! He seems lonely. With all those "perches" in the water, hopefully he will soon have company...

Ha, ha, ha it looks familiar... the swan looked great in blue, but it also looks very nice in colour. The golden bushes make the capture so warm. Breaking the rules seems to work very well in this case.

Beautiful swan photo here. We have a few of these in our lakes in the NW also....always found them to be so elegant and graceful. Good clarity, exposure and overall essence has a quiet feel to it...really a good capture!
