My first attempt in capturing a firework. I'm not really happy with the result but I promised to upload a picture. I dedicate this one to that lovely couple I got to know yesterday evening. You guys know who you are. Here is something for you to remember... Any helpful comments are welcome

I think it's a lovely capture... and if you wanted to perfect it any way, you could always attempt to edit out the smoke trails from the sky. That sunset is just glorious!

It's a good shot, Bernd. Reducing the gamma will darken it overall, a bit, but a tripod is a necessity for Fireworks. I added some saturation to it and it brought out the sunset as well, without affecting the fireworks.

What technical remarks ...! LOL
Those above.
Thanks, Bernie, for being there and making new posts - even if it is very difficult timewise - I know how much difficult it is ...

Great colors Bernie, perfect time of the day as there's still a little of sunset on the skyline and a cool firework lighting up the sky! Very nicely done!

A big big "Thank You" goes out to everyone who took some time and left me a few words. I will try and thank all you guys personally but have mercy on me when it might take some time.

Until then, all the best to you

I really like this picture, here in the UK it is Guy Fawkes night where we have big firework displays all over the country, and then this popped up. Best fire work of the night, thanks for sharing it.

The firework is gorgeous, as is the sunset. I don't know how to clean up the bottom portion so I will say great work and leave it at that :)
