I like the simplicity of the boat. Also the landscape behind reminds me to my small valey where I came from.

I like the composition you have here...the boat is great. I love old seagoing, working vessels. I had one on here just lately, but ...well, that's a sad story for some other time <<LOL>>> If this were my upload, and I don't know what kind of equipment you have or how you do your post work, but I'd work with the contrast to get rid of the slight haze that plagues most shots I've seen where there is some humidity in the air..believe you me, I know humidity. I live in New England. I think a tweak such as that would really make this pop. Of course, please take any hopefully helpful suggestions on my part with a grain of salt!!

This one sure gets my storyteller juices flowing. So much character and history resting in those old timbers. Great choice of subject. I'm guessing this is a scan? I'm with PJ on the haze thing, while the gloomy grungy look suits the subject this is another one of those images that seems to be stuck half way, partway to clarity partway to artfully messed up. lol. I like it, she might turn up in one of my stories some time. :)
