Hey Brett,
Well I think the upright nature of the cross fits better into the wider frame so for that reason I like this one. But having the dark cross isolated against the paler wall behind is also a plus and that's more evident in the tall version. If there was a wide shot with just cross and wall and less bush/tree darkening the pale wall I'd pick that one. lol. Fussy aren't I!

It's hard to say, but I think I'm going for this one composition wise. The cross still stands out and I like the inclusion of the little bushes.

great shot! quick question...where is this? it looks like the graveyard in Giverny, France where monet and his family are buried...

chswim07 & xcski08 i remember how it was in the old days we would go outside in the grass and lay down next to each other where we'd stay up all night and talk to each other this way we used to go everywhere together doesn't matter if it was poor or fair weather you asked me if i'd cheat i said never i know i messed up but i'm gonna make it better

This would be the one for me. The trees and more of the wall add greatly to the mood and the balance of the piece.
