It was a perfect full moon tonight 21:02 my time :P. So I just had to take a picture of it... Turend out much better then I had hoped... So here is the all so familiar moon of ours :) Taken with EOS400d and ef 70-300 at 300mm, f:8.0 1/160sek ISO 100

I love the simplicity of the darkness of the sky and the contrast of all the old meteor hits on the moon it's nice to see someting so unique.

YowZah! Beautiful and compelling. Thanks so much for the data you supplied. I tried the moon the other night and wasn't happy with my results. I don't have as powerful a lens as you are using, but I will look at my settings again and, perhaps, begin from yours.
