Hi sabine,
They made me smile too,
It seems, they are looking for something,
I love the reflections of those beauties in the water,
I like the effect of the color switch in the water when you move from the back to the front (Light Blue > sort of Brown > Dark Blue > Light Blue again)
Thanks for sharing this beautiful moment with us
Tim
beautiful Sabine! They are all moving in unison - like synchronised swimming! lol! I am glad you got the picture you were after! The reflections on the lake are beautiful too! Patti

Sabine my friend you have moved into another realm of photo shoots. This is wonderful and I know what you mean about the few good pics out of many that don't turn out. I think you have a wonderful post here. Sandi

Oh yes, i would without hesitation give it a 10/10 in the voting boot. I see you have sharpend the image somewhat, and for the better of it. The colors are amazing from deep dark blue to even golden. Animals are very difficult to photograph, therefore i stay away from it. Since the image was so good, i kept looking to see or i could find something that i would have changed, maybe i would have cloned out the branches bottom right, to let the pond/water look bigger, but hey, awefully nice image.

If you used the sharpen tool, you used it in the way it was intended...as far as Dutch Postings' suggestion about removing the branches, I had to actually get right up close to the screen to even see it at all...I thought it was just a part of the water. Love old Dutch, but I think he was reaching..lol..There's a lot going on in this gorgeous water scene, and I just noticed that the third swan in the back seems to have spied something tasty in the water, as he certainly looks posed to take the "dive"..lol..Sabine, you've outdone yourself, girl.

Wasn't sure about this one from the thumbnail, but when I opened it up - WOW! The waves have a hypnotic quality about them which is reinforced by the swans creating an almost dreanlike scene. One of your best so far:o))
Cheers,
Steve.
