3 Towers in Graz

The Cathedral of Graz reminds of the days when Graz was an imperial city. Emperor Frederick III erected the church together with his new residence in Graz. In the course of history, the cathedral saw many changes. Construction work of the court and parish church in late-Gothic style was started in 1438, as Jesuit church it was refurbished in Baroque style in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. Since 1786 it has been the cathedral, i.e. the bishop's and main church of the Catholics in Styria. I loved the look of the three towers against that giant sky.

Great job the towers set against the clouded sky gives one a feeling of such mood. You have a very good eye for what works. <> sandi

Nice work Sabine! It almost looks like a night shot, but judging by the small clear spot it appears to still be day time. I really like the way you captured all 3 towers here. Nicely done!

Your work impresses me more and more, what a nice composition and presentation, this really works as a dark, cold, threatening image. Great job.

A great capture and the silhouettes against that almost threatening sky are amazing. Excellent job Sabine and so glad you shared it.

The towers are not totaly black, still the detail is visable, against the dark sky.
