The Volksgarten (People's Garden) was opened in 1820, on the site of the Burgbastei which Napoleon's army destroyed. It was designed in the manner of the Luxembourg garden in Paris and continues to function as an elegant and popular town garden with rose benches, shady alleys and comfortable park chairs and benches.

Wow! An amazing shot Sabine! So much to like about this, it's hard to know where to start! Very colorful, scenic and sunny with awesome clarity. I really like that you got the steeples incleuded in the background as well. The architecture of the building and the fountain in the foreground are two more things that add to this. It's in my faves now. Congrats on an excellent photo! C):-)

A grand view of the beautiful garden very well photographed. The different shades of green and the blue sky as a back drop makes this a shot of picture postcard quality.

Oh, this is a nice summerly scene... all colors are here, the people on the left enjoying a walks, the nice buildings, fountain... yep i like this scene a lot.
After not beeing here for a couple of days, this is a nice one to start out with.
