I got the picture in the voting boot, and gave it a 10/10 because i just love the view.
The sun shines its golden rays over the staircase, wonderfull and warm image.
Although when i voted, i did not know it was yours, i was very pleased to find out later.
I like it too Sabine! Great angle you took this from! Not only do we get the idea if the height of these but the number of stairs as well. I bet it was better going down! Good thing you have that new leg so Chris didnt have to carry you up & down these! LOL Nice shot! C):-)

How can you resist photographing anything lit by sun and shadows - they make wonderful photographs and this is unusual Sabine - you have a good eye for the unusual!

Sabine, Sorry i'm a little late here but it does not take away my thoughts of how nice this one turned out. I think you had a good eye here for a unique shot. > ♫ ♪ ♫ :)sandi ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫
I have to agree with almost everyone above. I think that the contrasts throughout have been handled in a very professional and artistic manner. I love this view!!
Sorry I haven't been posting lately. Been lazy(?). I have been looking at your postings though, even if I haven't commented as much as I would like.

oh.. this one is fabulous !
i love the shadows and lighting in this picture, as well as the texture of the wall and the lines in the picture !
job well done !!
I truly love this photograph. Everyone has already commented on the beauty of the light and shadow on the steps (and I agree) but I also especially love the textures on the wall and steps too. I put it right to desktop when I saw it! The distant landscape reminds the viewer just how high up you were when you took this shot. Very nice!
