Which one are we looking at? - the teeny weeny one in the middle or the big ugly bug on the right? lol! just kidding Sabine! You captured the bug on the right perfectly - you can see a lot of detail! - well done! ps ...and the flower is very pretty too!

It is hard to shoot bugs on yellow petals, i have tried it also, but my images got overlighted... At least you succeded very wel here Sabine !

It's great and thanks for not touching him before you shot him, or we'd have never seen him. :) I don't think you have to be able to look up an insect's nostril to make it a good pic, my dear, although I love macros. This is very natural in apppearance and I haven't even started on how well that silky flower came out. Job well done, I'd say :)
