That fiery red is a great color, Sabine. It looks great as it fades into the green, but it might be a touch bright in the middle where the light is reflecting off the leaves.

I really enjoy hearing from my caedes friends.
It's a lovely plant and so bright and cheerful. It may be just a tad touch too bright in the very middle, but that's personal preference :)

I don't know a lot about flowers Sabine, but the plant reminds me of a Christmas Cactus but on a huge scale! lol! Maybe adding some shadows would bring out the details of the flower a bit more! Nice capture - hope you took some more while you were there!
