What they say on their own homepage: Our luxury Vienna Hotel is part of the city like the Opera House, the Prater ferry wheel, the Fiaker horse carriages and the Lipizzaner horses. The Sacher, as the Viennese call it, is a 5 star Vienna hotel that combines contemporary Viennese comfort and luxury with the charm and feel of the old Habsburg monarchy.

:O I expect it is the poshest hotel in town Sabine! and very expensive! ....but no doubt it is beautiful! pristine white and wonderful architecture! The view from the top must be excellent! nice capture my friend!

This is wonderful...I love the angle and the way you placed the entire building in the photo. Being able to see the entire building puts it in perspective....great job!

My comments will be hit and miss for the next month or so. I'm preparing to return to the U.S. on 1 Aug and will be on vacation until 20 Aug or so...I will be checking though and I look forward to your great shots! L8R...G8R
Sabine, indeed 'Sacher' is famous. Don't know whether the famous 'Sacher Torte' has something to do with this hotel. I don't think so, there must be a 'Wiener Konditorei' which has the name Sacher as well. Very nice image and a very interesting narrative as well. Regards, Cornelius
