Steinbach in Upper Austria is a very special place for me, since my mother grew up here. Our eight days there were my first stay since I was a teenager. On the graveyard in front of the church is also my grandparents grave.

What a beautiful resting place for your grandparents. I know it was great for you to go back. I love this orange color on the church.. This imparts a very sentimental mood. ~Mary~

gosh! the colours in this photograph are dazzling Sabine - very beautiful like a dream place. I would also like to see it with less saturation, but that does not mean I do not like this one. nice shot my friend and obviously this place has a special meaning for you! Patti

wonderful warm tones, and thank you for sharing that bit of personal background. it adds a certain "depth" to the image.

there's a little bit of a lean here,Sabine. Italian influence (Pisa) perhaps? :P

Lovely job, Sabine, as everyone has said, and I'm happy for you that you were able to relive some old memories. There's nothing like that feeling and this was a beauty of a shot to send with it :)

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . .
