When I saw these Box Elder Bugs on the Milkweed pod, I had this image of them jumping on the silk for a ride when the wind whisks it away! EDIT: Thanks to happy2seeyou ... the correct name for these bugs is Milkweed Bug. Google images for Box Elder Bug to see why I made the mistake!

I believe they are actually milkweed bugs (probably at nymph stage as the wings are just developing) and they are just eatting. I took a very simular shot this weekend (so close I thought this was mine...but I have not posted it). Great detail, nice shot.
