i don't think there are enough self portraits on caedes... here is mine i obviously didn't take it my and i can't remember who did! felt a little shy hence heavy editing : )

I like the color contrast on this, yet it is hard to palce the emotion this image brings. It is good to know what a few other people on caedes look like; thanks for the bravery. :-) I wish the detail in this image was more precise, was the blur intentional?

thanks for your comment! if someone hadn't commented soon i would have removed it. yes the blur was deliberate. done in order to enhance the overall form as opposed to the detail...

i love the mood. colours go well, and the blur is nice.its personal but yet impersonal at the same time. i like it:) and i agree, we need more self portraits. so i will put one of mine on.

Well let me add my admiration for your image - and I agree with the above, you certainly look better than Marlon Brando - kind of resemble Bruce Springsteen in this photo. Anyway, I like the color tones & how your hair is black & your skin so white. Good effects. I'd say you did a fine job :*)

You look...sad. The stark contrast of light and dark accentuates your features, and bring out the sharper parts of the picture. I also love the way you blend in with the background. Really awesome portrait - you've inspired me to possibly do one.
