I was trained in the Norman Rockwell school of abstract design; so I'm either the best or the worst person to critique your work since I think Van Gogh and Piccaso suck, but here goes nonetheless.
From my school days I thought that abstract art was representative of something real while non-objective art was just splatters of paint. So I know this is supposed to represent something.
I like the color combinations - especially the pink and blue. It would make great wallpaper for a baby's room at a hospital for the criminally insane. Actually the image has very good balance. The black on top is counterbalanced by the black on the bottom. Good luck in the contest.
Hello Steve, It looks a little spooky to me. Those black dots in the circles look like eyes staring at me. I agree with the comments about your good balance of the colors.
