This is a 1yr old plant that survived our mild winter, so it's grown quite tall, but I had no idea Dusty Miller plants bloomed. All comments are welcome. -Christie
Beautiful shot of the very strange looking plant, Christie. The focus is sharp and the colors really pop. The DoF is right on the button. No complaints from me.
Although it is grown for its foliage it it lovely to see the bright yellow flowers taking centre stage in this lovely clear photo Christie. The addition of the insect and the nice DOF also add to its attractiveness. In warmer areas they are regarded as a perennial. Now that this has flowered you may also get little seedlings popping up and you can also take cuttings. If you leave the flowers to dry off you can collect the seeds. One thing to be aware of is that all parts of the plant are poisonous.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
