This is another rework of a childhood memory. It was always a treat when I was younger to ride the ferry across the Cumberland River. It finally shut down and a bridge was built not long after I took this photo. The area still looks the same today(minus the ferry)and is used as a public boat ramp. Edited in PhotoFiltre and Paint.NET. Thanks for taking a look. -Christie

Memory laan a place I vist often but your still a jong girl ;0) Christie .......so dont wander memory laan to much but must say that is a good meromy the picture is moody in a nice way.

I love the way this turned out Christie! I really like the ferry, it seems so small, although I'm sure that when you were a child it must have appeared enormous to you! The landscape is lovely. I love the old eighties cars, I'm sure they were brand new back then. I just love the eighties, I was just getting ready to start High School, ah, the good old days:)

A very cool photo my Friend. There is a comfortable essence within this shot. There is definitely a sense of 'the past' in this as well opening one's imagination and personal memories. Nicely done.
