This is spectacular indeed. Don't take this the wrong way, but this reminds me of the London Underground. Or maybe it's the Tube as it ought to be - all shiny and clean, fast and on time. I'm somewhat of a fan, but I hope yours is not as expensive despite its admitted aesthetic superiority.
I'm a bit concerned about your title. How can you possibly follow-up that one? I hope you're not planning on making this your grand finale...
All of earth is crammed with heaven And every bush aflame with God But only those who see take off their shoes. - Elizabeth Barrett Browning<p>

*deep sigh* Kat, I think I see what you meant by the title. I've been a Van Gogh fan since childhood, and this sort of..sort of.. has a "starry night" feel to it. If perhaps, Vincent was around in Las Vegas' heyday, who knows... as for the work itself, i'm sorry. I can't get on board here. it's a bit too busy and flashy, but I'd not quite say..contrived. I do appreciate the effort, and look forward to future posts

I think the design is quite nice .. the colors, on the other hand, are what keep it from achieving greatness ... :o) ... I'm not sure that Van Gogh used these colors .. and if you tried a more Goghical deep blues and greens, maybe even browns, people would look at it without a desire to cut off their ears
