This is a picture I took while working at a Bible Camp in Utah over the summer. This little guy wandered into our chapel when his eyes weren't even opened yet. I wanted to take care of him, but I was a counselor and didn't have the time. So one of the families that worked at the camp adopted him. This is a week after we found him. He was tame as could be and adorable as I'll get out, but then. . . I'll let you be the judge of that. = - ]

It is a Baby Chipmunk. He could barely move when we found him, but that may have been because he was so young.

awww how cute. He looks like a little Russian Dwarf Hamster but I cannot see him properly so I don't really know. He is obviously happy cuddled up there in your hand. Lovely shot!

Oh lookie!!!! It's a baby poofball!!!!!! Absolutely adorable!!!!! I had a really good friend who used to raise abandoned squirrels and rabbits..."lights a candle for her, cuz she passed on about a few years ago", and this pic just reminded me of her. A very good memory indeed. Thanks, and excellent shot by the way!

I can feel the sense of security emanating from that little guy... he's to die for. I've taken care of several baby birds, a few butterflies, and a few other wild things... thanks for looking after this little one.

The first time I saw a Chipmunk (We don't have them in Australia.)I couldn't believe they were so much like the cartoon versions I'd seen on tv. So tiny, so astonishingly fast. They do seem particularly capable of becoming habituated to humans, the one's under our front steps (When I was visiting Boston.) got pretty close to taken seeds from your fingers. Can't top the cuteness factor in this one.
