A little pic I made from a photograph I took in Los Angeles down by the beach. My brother and I were taking a walk in the rain to find out where he would propose to his girlfriend when he brought her back. Several houses along the beach had gorgeous flower beds. I took this one. The pic had beautiful color contrasts, but the quality otherwise was a bit low. So I used it as a basis for an artistic interpretation. A little cut and paste, a little black and white, a little air brushing, a little chalk filtering, and a little fading and framing, and VOILA!!

I like the interpretation. It's a nice piece and you did a great job transforming a picture that may have otherwise been less appealing to something that is interesting and is eye catching.

The photo would have been standard. Brilliant little bit of word play and manipulation on your part.

This might make a nice congratulations card for your brother and soon to be sister in law for their engagement~ (considering she says yes of course!) A very special shot indeed :) ...you'll have to let us know the outcome!
